Building Inspectors Building Inspectors/Code Enforcement Officers are available on Tuesday or Thursday mornings in the Village Office. If you are building, renovating or renting out any part of your property, you will need to get a permit from the building inspector. Inspections are required before each new tenant moves in.

Eilene Morris, Clerk/Treasurer Comprehensive Plan The Village has a comprehensive plan, which includes a history section. Copies of the comprehensive plan can be obtained for $5.00 at the Village Office, or at the Information Kiosk, when open. Fire Company The Fire Company is always in need of volunteers. The fire horn you hear periodically in the Village is to call the volunteers. The fire horn is also tested at noon on Wednesday and Saturday.

The food pantry is located in the rear of the Town Offices at the base of Church Street, and is open for donation and pick-up on Tuesdays.

Rick Tracey Post Office Mail in Philmont is delivered to Post Office boxes in some areas or by Carrier Delivery in some cases. At the Post Office, First Class mail is in your box by 11:00AM, daily. Post Office Boxes are available in different sizes, and free PO boxes are generally available to those within 1/4 mile of the Post Office and certain streets. Residents should inquire of the Postmaster.
