Items can be donated or placed on consignment, with the library receiving 25 percent of the selling price for consigned items. Donated items will be noted in a letter for tax purposes. Climb into the attic or go down in the basement and find those paintings or prints that you once thought looked perfect in your living room but now do not match the orange paint you selected last year. Someone else will love it as much you did and the library benefits.

All donated or consigned items can be brought to the Philmont Public Library at 101 Main Street, Philmont, during any open hours: Monday and Wednesday, 12-5, 6-8; Thursday, 10 to 2; Friday, 12-5; and Saturday, 10-2. The sale will begin in the middle of October and run through the end of the year, for holiday shopping.
