The Friends of the Philmont Public Library has begun a new fundraising campaign, Buy A Brick. Tim Smith, Philmont resident and co-owner of TD Smith Stonemasonry, has developed a plan for a brick walkway to enter the rear of the building and the newly constructed Karen A. Garafalo Cultural Center. The walkway will be fully handicapped accessible.

Bricks are available for purchase for $50 each and will provide a great opportunity for businesses, patrons, and friends of the library to show their support of the library. The bricks will be 4" X 8" and has space for up to 3 lines of text, with 14 characters on each line. The brick can preserve your name, children's or grandchildren's names, or be a memorial to a loved one. It would be a great gift idea for a friend of loved one.
