The Philmont Public Library and the Friends of the Library are busy organizing the third Restaurant Crawl - the Fall Crawl - on Sunday, November 11. All four restaurants in Philmont (Main Street Public House, Lagonias, Local 111 and the Vanderbilt Inn) will participate in the event, along with the Michael Johnston Bus Company, providing the transportation for the evening.

Diners will be picked up by the bus at 4 p.m. at Michael Johnston's Bus Garage and dropped off at the Main Street Public House for appetizers and drinks. Then half of the attendees will go to Local 111 and half will go to Lagonias for soup and salad. After the soup and salad course, diners will switch restaurants for their entrée. After dinner, everyone will be bussed to the Vanderbilt Inn for homemade desserts and coffee.

Previous restaurant crawls have drawn rave reviews from attendees and each crawl has sold out quickly, so interested diners should call the library at (518) 672-5010 to reserve your space. Tickets for the event are $50, which does not include alcoholic beverages. Payment is required at the time of reservation.
