The temperature cooled down in December, but programming at the library was just heating up.

Vonda Teaney taught a class in basket making that was enjoyed by a full-house of adult patrons. Each participant took home a beautiful basket they designed and constructed.

The children of the library were treated to two classes of jewelry making. The participants were able to make and wrap presents for the upcoming holidays. Leslie Carl, Bea Canetto and Sherry Ritchie helped the budding artists complete their holiday gift giving.

On Sunday December 17th, warm weather and a clear night encouraged 30 patrons, young and old, to carol around the village. Tim Teaney provided much needed support to start all the songs as the group caroled along Main Street and Maple Avenue. Afterwards, the carolers were treated to cookies and hot chocolate back at the library. Cookies were provided by Louise Wildermuth, Karen Beinkampen, Vonda Teaney, Dot Bowes, and Kim Czyzewski.
