The four restaurants in the Village of Philmont are again teaming up
to host a Village Restaurant Crawl, with proceeds to benefit the
Philmont Library Cultural Center Fund.
Main Street Public House, Lagonia's, Local 111, the Vanderbilt Inn, Michael Johnston Bus Company, and the Philmont Public Library will co-sponsor the event on Sunday, January 14. Diners will be picked up by bus at 4:30 at Michael Johnston's Bus Garage and dropped off at the Main Street Public House for appetizers and drinks. Then half of the attendees will go to Local 111 and half will go to Lagonia's for soup & salad. After soup & salad, the diners will switch restaurants for their entrée. After dinner, everyone will be bussed to the Vanderbilt Inn for homemade desserts and coffee. "The first crawl sold out in less than a week and there were a lot of people that we unfortunately had to turn away", said Interim Library Director Karen Garafalo. "This is a great opportunity for people to help the library and enjoy dinner with friends and neighbors in Philmont's four restaurants." Tickets for the event are $50, which does not include alcoholic beverages. Space is limited and the event is expected to sell out. If you are interested, call Karen Garafalo at (518) 672-5010 or 672-7519. Payment is required at the time of reservation. |
