The new Columbia & Berkshires Cycling Association, headquartered in Philmont, will hold meetings the first Monday evening of each month starting this November. The organization which recently got a write-up in the Register Star will host bicycle road tours in the two counties leaving from Nolitas Cafe in Hudson as well as Wogaffers Cafe in Great Barrington.

But the C&BCA will also do advocacy work promoting safe road shoulders, expansion of the rail trail network, and general development of Columbia County cycling tourism. Membership is free thru April 2007 and non-cyclists who believe in our mission are welcome to help out in any way they can.
